Tomales Bay is located about 40 miles north of San Francisco along the California coast (near Point Reyes Station). For several years now, our lab and the Anderson lab have traveled here to cast off in kayaks up the bay towards the great Pacific Ocean finding a comfortable beach to camp at along the way.
